Love Notes 3.0
Ages 12 – 24
Love Notes 3.0 (2019) is a program that is geared toward older teens and young adults who are at risk of an unplanned pregnancy, troubled relationships, or who are already pregnant or parenting. It covers information on how teens can make wise choices with their partners, sex, relationships, pregnancy, and more. It goes over sexual consent, online pornography, sexting, sexual assault, drugs and alcohol- and the impact they have on relationships, cyber bullying, and technology and social media.
Making A Difference! Is an evidence-based approach to talk about abstinence, teen pregnancy prevention, and STI/HIV prevention. Making A Difference! is an eight-module curriculum that provides young adolescents with knowledge, confidence, and skills necessary to reduce their risk of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), HIV, and pregnancy by abstaining from sex. Young adults not only need knowledge and perception of personal vulnerability, but also positive attitudes and beliefs regarding abstinence, abstinence negotiation skills, and confidence in their ability to abstain from sex.
Making Proud Choices! is an 8-module program that aims to provide young adolescents with the knowledge, confidence and skills necessary to reduce their risks of sexually transmitted diseases, HIV, and pregnancy by abstaining from sex or using condoms if they choose to have sex.
P3 is a 12-lesson curriculum that addresses risk factors and behaviors associated with unplanned teen pregnancy by increasing adolescent’s ability to use risk-reduction skills including: contraceptive use; resistance and negotiation skills; and accessing reproductive health services. The program seeks to teach adolescents to either delay/abstain from sexual activities or use birth control consistently and correctly when engaging in sexual activity. Students will gain knowledge of the consequences of teen pregnancy and risk situations, contraception and health services; self-efficacy to use birth control and condoms; parent-adolescent communication; refusal skills; and positive attitudes toward abstinence.
